A note to the neighborhood :)

Honestly, I don't even know why Vox has this feature at all, but I'm posting this to please ask those of you in my neighborhood not to send me anymore posts. If I add you to my neighborhood it's because I enjoy reading what you post and therefore do, so there's no need to clog my email with links to something I'm going to, or have already, read. It's just a personal preference regarding a feature I find annoying and slightly pointless. I mean, I know I'd feel weird posting something and then sending the darn thing into all of your inboxes. Am I the only one who's slightly put off by it?

Either way, just asking. Hmmm. I think this post might actually be as annoying as those automated Vox messages themselves. :)

I have a neighbor that does the same thing. I am not sure why Vox has this feature. I think they put it in there to mess with people.

I agree with you - I don't understand why Vox implements that as a feature instead of offering to email you with a link whenever someone replies to a comment you leave on someone else's Vox. Now that would be a worthwhile feature.

I know - what's up with that, anyway? Vox is the only site I know of that doesn't have a comment reply notification thing, and it's kind of mind-boggling that that, I guess, doesn't seem like a good idea, but spamming your neighborhood does. I don't get it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one puzzled by this. Maybe they decided that neighborhoods were getting too big and created the feature so people would get mad and de-friend others. LOL. Oh, I dunno. Weird, weird Vox.

I think when you have about 100++ people in your neighborhood, and you're linked to one of those or they want your opinion, they've kinda gotta ask for it. I keep getting it for issues connected to Islam.

I hope Megan is getting the same as well, as she's the feminist Muslim expert in my neighborhood...

Okay, so I kind of stumbled upon your blog and then I noticed the pictures of Kiefer. 24. A soul mate. Gotta add you to my neighborhood. :-)
